- Hi;
-
- I run a GVP'040 in my A2000. I'm about to remove my 16 megs (4 4meg simms)
- and install 2 16meg simms. My board will obviously go from fully populated
- to "not fully" populated.
-
- I have Guru Rom installed in my system.
-
- Other than setting the appropriate jumper on the '040 to disable burst mode,
- do I have to alter my software settings in my user-startup sequence? I use
- "move ssp fastrom", "set device" and the omniscsi options.
-
- When I installed GuruRom, I was told the "cache/no cache burst" instructions
- were no longer necessary.
-
- I'd appreciate any helpful advice I can get.
